I have experienced such things too in studying with some Iyengar teachers-rough attitude, and very strong judgement, and a sense that you are wrong or broken and need to be "fixed" and that only at the teachers knowledge. Even as a very sensitive and experienced yoga, made to feel basically incompetant. It's a shame as there is much to learn-yet it feels like the heart, compassion is missing. Om shanti.

Thank you. Listening to this recording came at just the right time. This is a gift. I did not know about Victor Van Kooten, but had been looking up Angela Farmer. His words and their meaning touched many many parts of me. I hope to speak with Victor one day.
