Karma Yoga : The Path of Selfless Service

Karma Yoga is the path of dedicated participation in the world without any expectations or claiming the fruits of actions for oneself. Every act, whether by thought, word, or deed, is done as an offering to the Divine, the ultimate source and innate goodness within all.

The fact that we have access to computers, to the internet, to digital downloads, means that we are in a place of privilege, and therefore have the opportunity to purify ourselves and improve the lives of others through the selfless giving of our resources. Hanuman has always been the deity of service, devotion and strength. iHanuman aims for the same qualities. One of the ways we do this is by giving 5% of ALL proceeds from this site to charitable organizations. We currently (or previously) support the following Not for Profit Organizations:

World Wildlife Fund

The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is an international non-governmental organization founded in 1961, working in the field of wilderness preservation, and the reduction of human impact on the environment. WWF is the world's largest conservation organization with over five million supporters worldwide, working in more than 100 countries, supporting around 1,300 conservation and environmental projects.

Friends of Ramana's Garden

Ramana’s Garden India was founded by a dedicated and forceful American woman, Prabhavati Dwabha, 18 years ago as a result of her spiritual practice on the banks of the River Ganga. Prabhavati’s heart overflowed with compassion for the numerous homeless, destitute, and abused children she met there, and she decided to make those children her life’s work. On a shoestring budget, she has for years provided a growing number of children with education, nourishment, and a future where they had little or no hope. Through her guidance and perseverance, Ramana’s Garden India has also instituted programs to educate local villages in practices of proper sanitation, safe drinking water, general health care, as well as support for the advancement of Indian women through vocational skills like Angora Rabbit Wool Weavings and establishment of Women’s Self Help Groups. The Bellur Trust :

Bellur Krishnamachar & Seshamma Smaraka Niddhi Trust (BKSSNT), was formed with a vision to serve the village Bellur with all the necessities. This will help not only the villagers but also the children of villages near by Bellur. BKS Iyengar, who left Bellur at the age of 18 has a lot of concern for his birth place, Bellur. BKSSNT is a charitable trust and has undertaken as well as completed several projects with focused aim.

The Human Kindness Foundation :

Human Kindness Foundation

The Human Kindness Foundation, founded by Bo and Sita Lozoff, is a non-profit organization which stresses a way of life based upon three common principles taught by the great sages of all religions: Simple living, a dedication to service, and a commitment to personal spiritual practice.

Along with its internationally respected Prison-Ashram Project, the Foundation sponsors and schedules Bo Lozoff's talks, workshops and concerts-- all of which are infused with a guiding philosophy. This website offers access to articles and podcasts, Bo Lozoff's Morning Readings and a list of our friends and other organizations we support. Support the Prison Ashram Project by purchasing Bo Lozoff's audio recording of The Ramayana.

The Central Asia Institute:

Deep, Slow, Relaxed

Peace and Hope Begin With Education: One Child At A Time. The Central Asia Institute's mission is to promote and support community-based education, especially for girls, in remote regions of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Each one of Central Asia Institute’s projects is locally initiated and involves community participation. A committee of elders guides each selected project. Before a project starts, the community matches project funds with equal amounts of local resources and labor. This commitment ensures a project’s viability and long term success. Local NGO’s (Non-Government Organizations) and village communities are selected for their dedication, initiative, and accountability to facilitate community partnerships.

The Tibetan Children's Education Foundation:

The Tibetan Children's Education Fund

Compassion Yoga

The Tibetan Children's Education Foundation is a nonprofit corporation founded in 1995 dedicated to the preservation of Tibetan culture by supporting Tibetan schools and school children-in-exile from their homeland. TCEF began in the State of Montana, USA, which many of our Tibetan friends say reminds them of Tibet. TCEF was chartered by a group of Montanans, all of whose lives have been enriched in some degree by the Tibetans, their religion or culture. By helping to keep that culture and its people alive and well-educated we hope to return some of the blessings we have received. Support the Tibetan Children's Education Foundation by purchasing Anne Jablonski's "Compassion Yoga".

Project Hope:

Project Hope

Project HOPE is unique among international organizations in that we have always worked across the health spectrum in a wide variety of settings – from the family and community levels to the tertiary care level – training traditional birth attendants and community health volunteers where resources are limited and cardiac surgeons and biomedical engineers where technology is appropriate.

Vinyasa Flow Master Class #1

The health challenges facing us today are very different from those in 1958 – when Project HOPE first pioneered medical diplomacy by developing friendly relationships with peoples of different cultures and orientations, through sharing of medical knowledge and treating patients alongside health professional counterparts. Over the past five decades, however, we have demonstrated our ability to develop and permanently institute long-term solutions to pressing health problems, the true essence of helping people help themselves.

Though the challenges have evolved, Project HOPE remains as committed as ever to addressing the world’s new health threats by playing a leadership role – forging new alliances among those on the frontlines of health and together seek new solutions. Support Project Hope by purchasing Stephanie Keach's Vinyasa Flow Master Class #1.

Universal Prayer
O Adorable Lord of Mercy and Love!
Salutations and prostrations unto Thee.
Thou art Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient.
Thou art Existence-Consciousness-Bliss Absolute.
Thou art the Indweller of all beings.

Grant us an understanding heart,
Equal vision, balanced mind,
Faith, devotion and wisdom.
Grant us inner spiritual strength
To resist temptation and to control the mind.
Free us from egoism, lust, greed, hatred, anger and jealousy.
Fill our hearts with divine virtues.

Let us behold Thee in all these names and forms.
Let us serve Thee in all these names and forms.
Let us ever remember Thee.
Let us ever sing Thy glories.
Let Thy Name be ever on our lips.
Let us abide in Thee for ever and ever.
