Get on your mat for a good cause this summer. Georgetown Yoga has joined forces with YogaWorks to support Off the Mat, Into the World (OTM), a non-profit organization created by Seane Corn, Hala Khouri and Suzanne Sterling. OTM's mission is to inspire and guide yoga practitioners to become active in their local or global community in an effective, sustainable, and joyful way. As a sponsor of their 2008 Seva Fundraising Challenge, benefiting the Cambodia Children's Fund, we will be offering Monday and Friday morning mixed-level charity classes this summer. Georgetown Yoga is proud to support this cause - we will be offering a 2-hour led Ashtanga Primary Series class (minimum donation $5). This extended length Ashtanga practice allows for more detailed instruction. An excellent class for those students looking to transition from our Beginning Ashtanga drop-in classes to our Ashtanga Primary Series classes! No sign up is necessary, all you have to do is show up.
