Hi Rachel, I really enjoyed reading this and can relate to the larger question you're asking. I very much appreciated Sara's thoughtful answer. That trust in ourselves is something we can develop in practice every day, if we're brave enough to listen. Thanks for this blog post!

I know what you mean. I think most of us ( at least people who consciously searching for spirituality and the meaning of life ) incounter the same situations and we ask ourselfs the same questions. Just remember we are all one and we are part of everything and it means not only good things but the other side of the coint too. It is all the big play and you manifesting your character.
Much love and light

Thanks for your candidness, Rachel. Being honest with uncomfortable feelings is difficult for most people. My sense is that you do receive guidance, but the guidance is challenging to hear and so you put it off until a later date. I recognize this in myself when I am having difficulty and ask for guidance. The guidance I hear is too overwhelming and so I put it off until a later date, but I bet if you are quiet in balasana and ask the question on which you are seeking guidance, the answer will come. If it is too much to take on today, just know that it is your truth and you will act on it eventually. Thanks for sharing something that is uncomfortable. It takes a great deal of courage.
