The Friday morning Element Yoga classes are on Retreat for the month of December.
Classes will resume on January 13 for an 8 Week Session on the Kidneys and the Water Element.

In the meantime, I will offer 3 Special Winter Solstice Yin Yoga Retreat Classes To Benefit the RVCC Community Yoga Studio
Friday December 16: 9 – 11am
Saturday December 17: 10 – 12pm
Tuesday December 20: 6 – 8pm

The Winter Solstice marks the time of year when we move from the Air Element of Fall to the Water Element of Winter. This is an important transitional time of year to pay close attention to the changes in our bodies, minds and emotional states. The Air Element is most closely associated with the Nervous System which, when out of balance, presents as Anxiety and the all too familiar feeling of Stress.

The Winter Water Element is the most Yin time of year. It is Dark, Cold and Emotional. When not tended, this element can become stagnant which can lead to feelings of Depression and Frustration. By practicing contemplative forms of movement like yoga, we can calm our nerves and help balanced energy to flow and move with grace. These classes will concentrate on gentle, but powerful movements and meditations to help balance these elements.

Join Sara Agelasto for ONE or ALL of these 3 Special Retreat Classes to ease the transition and help center you during this auspicious time of year.

Classes are appropriate for all levels, but pre registration is requested as space is limited.

Each 2 hour Class is $25 and 10% of proceeds will be returned to benefit the RVCC Yoga Studio.
