Recorded Live at the Yoga Institute of Champaign-Urbana, Intermediate 2 classes are for those with substantial Iyengar Yoga study who are grounded in standing poses. New poses include sirsasana (head balance), arm balances, padmasana, and backbends. Yoga Sutra study is introduced and pranayama is practiced. Refine and explore the subtleties of your practice in this class of strong backbending and inversions as outlined in the pose list below.
All Lois' classes are taught in the Iyengar Tradition and the Intermediate 2 Classes are appropriate for students with several years study in Iyengar Yoga. Please only attempt poses within your skill level.
