Our spine is our midline and the organizing structure around which the physical body takes shape. This midline function remains present throughout life as an organizing force within our bodies. The internal practice of our yoga is an opportunity to focus on this essential and organizing component of our life. Our yoga allows us to get more simple and rest into the quiet space within ourselves, feeling the natural forces affecting our body as we tune into the wholeness of the spine. We bring our attention back to the spine, time and again and allow the midline to continuously re-emerge in our awareness, until we feel its location and the structures and energetic centers that exist along it.
