In our fast paced culture most of what determines our success is our activities. This constant doing puts a strain on the human being, both mentally and physically. Our yoga practice gives us an opportunity to begin to undo some of these patterns. Undoing is a nonlinear process and happens on multiple levels simultaneously. Our yoga practice helps us recognize and undo the tension and stress that accumulates, which creates an internal state of quiet and stillness. The vehicles for undoing are the breath and gravity, as we explore the movement and stillness of our yoga practice. With time and patience, we can change our approach and move from an attitude of over-doing to one of undoing.
