Yoga In The Woods

Yoga in the Woods was established in 1997, in Goodrich, Michigan by Maureen Bosker RN, 500 hour ERYT. Maureen's over 15 years of yoga study has given her a deep knowledge and appreciation for the practice of Ashtanga Yoga. She has been a long time student of Bryan Kest, Beryl Bender Birch, and Kathy McNames. Maureen had the opportunity to practice with Sri Pattabhi Jois on his annual tours to the United States beginning in 2001. She has studied with David Swenson, Dharma Mittra, Richard Freeman, Sharon Gannon, David Life, Erich Schiffman, Victor Van Kooten, Patricia Walden and Seane Corne to name a few. In 2011, Yoga in the Woods became a Registered Proprietary School through the State of Michigan. Yoga in the Woods is also a Registered Yoga Alliance 200/500 hour Yoga School. Maureen continues to teach classes in various locations and host yoga retreats in Northern Michigan as part of her RYT training.
