My yogic path has been formed through two decades of supporting communities living and loving in unimaginable circumstances, with their lives disrupted by war or disaster. Without realising, I became a teacher & healer but on a grand scale within my humanitarian career. A journey allowing me first hand experience of true fear, spirituality & duality within body & mind development. My gurus, dear friends & students have been my inspiration for my newer & complementary influences of Sanatan, Kundalini Yoga & alternative healing. My practice is strong and my teaching stronger. My philosophy is that yoga creates space in our bodies, minds and hearts.
My yogic leadership style supportively challenges beginners & intermediate practioners with a sense of fun & deep feeling for the effects of asana & pranayama. My methodologies focus on minimal demonstration but maximum assistance. The focus of my classes is the renewal of mind, the refreshing of energy & the physical achievement. The traditional styles of Hatha & the powerful Kundalini, adds a deeper dimension to typical western yoga by fully incorporating breath, movement & energy.
My greatest achievement to date, is my recovery from 3 spinal injuries, thanks to Yoga and other practices.
