Anjani is a registered Yoga instructor and a registered Continuing Education provider. Deep interest in the study of the scriptures, under the guidance of world renowned scholars of Advaita Vedānta for over 20 years, helped Anjani delve deeper into Vedānta and study of Yoga – Yoga philosophy in particular.
Having had the privilege to study texts which impart invaluable spiritual wisdom, from the teachers established in long standing lineage of teaching tradition – guru shishya parmparā, Anjani decided to first teach at local Yoga teacher training. From the initial Yoga certification program onward, Anjani has been actively involved in teaching Yoga philosophy at each and every certification program she has attended, including Yoga for Children, Therapeutic Yoga, and Yoga for Cancer patients. Anajni has published a book on Yoga philosophy "YOGA to Master the Mind". Proceeds are donated to the organization: AIM for Seva. Three important points were considered for this book:
• How does a person get access to the important teachings of Yoga on fitness and wellness of the "mind"?
• What version of Yoga will be passed on to our future generations? Yoga as a mere physical exercise OR a complete system of Yoga, Yoga as the science of right living?
• In the absence of any methodology or standardized text books, how does a Yoga teacher trainee understand the profound topics of Yoga philosophy and how do they meet the certification requirement of 40 to 60 hours study of Yoga philosophy?
